ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 6 THROUGH MARCH 11 |

Daylight Savings Time begins next Subday, March 14th. Don't forget to "spring ahead " one hour so you'll be on time for service.

Sunday School News: There are 3 weeks remaining in the unit for The Last Supper, and there are two more units to cover by the end of the year - Holy Week and The Plagues. The Christian Education Team thanks you for the continued participation of parents and children in this vital ministry of establishing a foundation of faith learning that will grow throughout life. Volunteers are needed to teach upcoming units. It is only a 3 week commitment of time, teaching one class per week. Contact Ray Porter at home at rporter001@ec.rr.com or work ray@environmentalchemists.com, or contact Kristi Wade as happykristi@aol.com to volunteer.

Dr. Harry Wendt, founder of Crossways, will present “The Bible’s Big Story” and “The Road to Coronation” on Saturday, March 20th from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Cost is $20, which includes lunch. To register, email Pr. Zumwalt at szumwalt@bellsouth.net or call 791-4582 x200.

From Ash Wednesday through Easter Sunday, Social Ministry will collect pocket change for use by the Lutheran WOrld Hunger Program, and our local Mother Hubbard's Cupboard. Boxes will be available after church services in a basket on the Usher's table.

Date Change - Circle of Love will be meeting Tuesday, March 9th at 7:30 in the library.

For those serving in worship: As stated in the March newsletter, the office will no longer mail a reminder to each person serving in worship each month. The list is found in your newsletter, online and posted on the bulletin board across from the office.

The Altar Guild has an immediate need for volunteers for all services. THese duties can be performed by women or men, and training wil be provided. Please contact Lynette Farmer at lynette.farmer@wachovia.com.
