ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF AUGUST 23 THROUGH AUGUST 30

• IT IS CATERED!! WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO HOST THE MEAL FOR OUR COLLEGE STUDENTS
  Once a month after the late service, we will need a family or a couple of friends to host the lunch in McCombs Fellowship Hall. There is a signup sheet in the Commons, please sign up today. We are in need of a family to host the first meal on September 14th. The meals will be provided the 2nd Sunday of each month, Sept.-May. Contact Nancy Magruder at 791-4582, Ext. 212 with questions about serving in this capacity.

• IT’S TIME FOR A NEW CHURCH DIRECTORY! The Evangelism Team will be supervising the production of a new Church Directory this year.
  Our photo session dates are: (September 18, 19, 20) and (October 2, 3 and 4)

• WE STILL NEED OLD/NEW PHOTOS  for our display on ST. MATTHEW’S SUNDAY. We want this display to depict our history and heritage. Help us do this by bringing your interesting photos.  Please drop them off at the church office by September 7^th. Be sure to put your name on the back so they can be returned to you. Thanks for helping us with this project.

• ATTENTION: We need two more people to count offerings. Teams serve for a month at a time 3 or 4 times a year. If you can serve in this vital ministry please contact Richard Chinn at 675-3889 or richardchinn@ec.rr.com.

• SERVE ON A COMMITTEE: Marilyn Wilson has graciously volunteered to lead the Social Ministry Team. They have need of at least three or four more people to serve on this team. If you have a soft spot in your heart for helping others, please contact Marilyn Wilson. This team is currently all women! A man or two on this team would be nice!

• SERVE ON THE FELLOWSHIP TEAM: Vivian Alexander recently volunteered to lead the Fellowship Team.  They need at least three or four more people to serve on this team. If you enjoy helping people get together for food, fun and fellowship please contact Vivian Alexander at valexi@bellsouth.net. A man or two on this team would definitely be beneficial!
